Plot: Think Seinfield, a show about nothing, about two former A++ list mega rich actors, who blew all their money on drugs and stupid shyt and now have to take every job given to them.
I think this is gold, we'll have Cage play Depp and Depp play Cage. Cameos from Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, James Spader, Downey Jr., and etc.

This is interesting. I was thinking about him again this weekend and the person I would like to compare him to - is Robert Downey Jr (RDJ).
They both hit success at an early age. One might argue that RDJ had greater success at a younger age but I think it still sticks. The difference is when their careers started to take off.
RDJ had his crash before his career reached it's peak. Remember this brother went to jail! Then after he got out he still had issues but then he made the decision to clean up. From then on it has been all gravy as dude has been up on the Forbes list of brother with $$ since then.

Depp probably had these same problems but maybe they never were in the forefront and only came about after he got Pirates and started making the major $$$. Now Johnny Depp blew up first and now is down in the dumps. I know if he cleaned himself up he would probably come out ok. I am not sure if he actually wants to though. And also I personally don't think that the big money comes back. I think if Johnny Depp made a comeback in a few years he would never be as big as he was during his heyday. If he actually won an Oscar - is he a good enough actor - would he then be stuck in the same type of roles that he excelled in but he didn't make any money from? (Edward Scissor Hands, 21 Jump Street, Benny and Joon etc)

Yeah, I thought he gave a memorable performance in Black Mass (the movie itself could've been a whole lot better, but he did a great job)
I agree on him going to rehab and getting cleaned up; also selling most of his assets.
Netflix would be a good look for him, I could see him doing a show on there
DC films would also be a step back in the right direction.

Just finished reading it.
Dude seems like a fukking clown, honestly. I'm not saying the people around him didn't take advantage of him....but how are you 55 years old, blowing money left and right, and upset that nobody warned you you'd go broke? He acts like he's a teenager still. I don't know if he has any close friends left but someone needs to get in his ear and tell him to grow the fukk up and take responsibility for his actions.
If you look at the list of things he's wasted money on, it's just....retarded. I can't even say with 100% certainty that anyone stole from him because he seems to have no concept of money.
First and foremost he needs to hit rehab ASAP. And sell off all the random shyt he owns. He has (if I remember correctly) 14 storage units full of Hollywood memorabilia....that has to be worth a decent chunk of money.
It might be too late for dude....he's pushing 60 and soon to be broke as fukk. Outside of those Pirates movies it's not as if he's a major Hollywood draw in 2018, either.

Depp doesn't care about movies enough. The reason why he can't really have a big comeback is because of that. Depp ain't pursuing good projects, calling up directors, etc. Depp had the looks and some talent, but he never had the drive.

But I do think there are drugs involved here outside of the outlandish spending on any and everything.
Rehab is the 1st step back in the right direction, gotta have clear eyes and mind before anything else.

It is hard to believe until you realize just how out of it Breh Man really is. It is a lot easier to miss out on that cash if you are high/drunk pretty much all the time and from what the article states Johnny Depp is only awake during the nighttime when all of the bankers/investors are actually available to answer questions.
