Its not ALL brand new. I've watched a number of NK documentaries just because I'm so fascinated by the country. But that right there... damn...

Yeah. After the Bolsheviks took over Russia there were tens of thousands of starving children in the streets across the country many were finally killed to get rid of the "problem" it reminds me of that. There have been numerous famines in NK the biggest we know of was in the 90's and hundred of thousands to possibly millions died. I've read a decent amount about NK but can't bring myself to watch the documentaries way too dark, and no solution in sight. It's a really cold society, I'm not aware of any other countries this controlled in this day and age.
