That's a lie, a very big lie. I can show numerous instances of Vice showing blacks in a positive light and doing positive things. You can't blame Vice for giving people a platform to tell a story their way but even the therapist show they put on TV imo was a very dope and positive ideal. A lot of healing in that show.

Post examples then.

What’s so funny square. Just because you can’t comprehend doesn’t mean it ain’t real.

And before you go off on some weak rant about how you know the hood, I’m from Brooklyn and hung out in the Ville. So I know and could relate to the video from first hand experience.

There was sincere expressions of doubt in this young mans mind but his words showed you that he has no other alternative. He didn’t even return any blows but chose to do what he did best and that was survive. So while many of you get up on your high horse and clown these dudes and then turn around and shyt on black folks, I won’t.

Not every member of a gang is hard or can fight. Do you think if this man had Better options he wouldn’t have chosen a different route?

So you telling me slim can't pick up a trade, go to job corp, be a mailman, work for metro, go back to school, work at Home Depot, Walmart anything but this shyt
Don't get me wrong I know it can be a beast out here especially if you don't have that strong upbringing but at some point dudes gotta realize that this shyt aint beneficial.
and as far as opportunities dude lives in New York not west bubba fukk Mississippi it's shyt out here for everybody you just gotta put the work in

I grew up seeing this shyt regularly as I'm from Brownsville. The women got gang banged (raped) by like 4 or 5 nikkas in every orifice. This isn't just a crip thing either.

Exactly the Spanish hustlers from the 80's and 90s turn that dirty money clean and they own clubs and businesses all over NYC from Staten Island to Queens. The scene in Paid in Full when money mitch was saying of he walked away from the game will nikkas remember him or will still have love for epitomize black criminal activity. nikkas have no endgoal. I am not against drug dealing, scamming or whatever unless it's a means to an end. Smart hustlers have gone down south flipped that money and got into real estate or owning clubs or music studios. However these are rare. These big Willie nikkas move smart and silently and should put these young nikkas on game.

Scammers aint shyt

Vice should be burned down to the ground. So tired of these good for nothing hipster village trash idiots spreading their garbage.

If I ever see any of those vice losers around here, I'ma punch them in the mouth for the culture.
But see the thing is, that is Brooklyn. That's how gangs are and when the economy is bad, ppl result to selling drugs or joining a gang just to eat.

Stop with the bullshyt narrative. I get tired of nikkas getting mad at media outlets as if they're the ones that perpetuate this ignorance. Get mad at the nikkas for this trash.

Blaming the media is no different than the one nikka with the ankle monitor on talking about how he a product of the environment and that they need other things to do.

For my own personal reasons, I have no sympathy for this kinda nonsense. It needs to stop. Simple as that.

You're right but so are those critical of Vice. They have videos on white gangs and drug addicts but that's a small percentage of content centered around white faces. Whenever you see us on there it's Urban Safari, poverty stricken, stereotypical imagery.

They have a food channel that I used to watch but it's extremely rare to see a black chef on there. I've probably seen 100 videos and out of that maybe 3 black people. Their music channel is more "white hipster in the hood interviewing black savages, will he make it out alive?" nonsense.

There are far more diverse stories of black life they could tell but that doesn't happen because their staff is lilly white.

Yeah I know but there's so much in Brooklyn going on and they rather would focus on that though so to say what? You'd never see them doing anything on a young black man trying to start a business or someone who's trying to keep gentrifiers from buying their home. Crime is supposedly down last time they said. So what's up with them seeking out this shyt.

Crips and Bloods in NY is legit.

Why do people from outside L.A. talk about this like it's a good thing? Crips and Bloods in L.A. been banging from generations. Generations. People who have grandfathers who are Crips. Old heads in East Coast cities want to smack the shyt outta millenium bangers. How can you be legit when you have no real OG's? :ld:

I'm from Cali too. But I'm glad I'm from the Bay where we never had that weak ass Blood and Crip bullshyt. Crips from L.A. tried to set up shop in Hunter's Point, SF in the early 80's but got ran out. When I was coming up, nobody was getting "jumped", it was all gunplay when it came to fonk. If you weren't born and raised in the set, you can never get "put on" where I'm from. :pacspit:For you East Coasters, the "set" is the neighborhood, not a gang. It's even like that in L.A. Piru, Grape St, etc. are all real streets. So you really are repping another city's shyt. The Bay is all about hustling and turfs, not gangs. So there's no recruitment, getting jumped in or goofy dances. How does your gangsta boyscouts generate any revenue? :mjlol:

This is the reason no one outside of NY takes NY seriously anymore. And LOL@ the posters acting like Brooklyn is the same as it was in 1993. I live in Maryland and Baltimore is ten times worse than anywhere in NYC right now, Brownsville included. But the dope epidemic is off the hook in Baltimore. NYC is a lot like where I'm originally from in SF where hipsters, yuppies and rich cacs are pricing the hood out of existence. :snoop:

The fact that you can join a gang in your 20's as an outta towner in NYC tells me a lot of things. :sas2: Keep typing all hard and shyt while sipping a $10 latte living around hipsters in NYC while paying $5k a month to live in a walk in closet in what is the safest big city on the East Coast. :umad: What a joke.
