:yeshrug:people been eating insects worldwide (we eat some in Central Africa, even though I was more "westernized"), it's just that western people aren't used to them. it all boils down to what you're used to. Hell people in France and in Belgium eat raw minced meat, I'm like :huhldup:

Lobster used to be prison food.

Lobster used to be used as garden fertilizer as well

Caviar was cheap too, it used to be served for free in saloons (the idea being that it'd make people get thirsty and buy beer).

As somebody who likes seafood, I'm kind of annoyed that I live in a time where seafood (outside of tuna) is generally expensive. I'd probably eat lobster/crab/shrimp every day if it wasn't expensive.

Still can't see myself messing with bugs though. Maybe if I grew up eating them, but still... :gag:

Grasshoppers were in chocolate, tasted like a sour snickers, worms and magets were fried taste like burnt French fries

Ever eat lobster, shrimp, or crabs?
Man I argue this all the time with people when they ask why I don't eat seafood. I just can't fukk with that shyt. Eating a crab is like eating a big ass spider :merchant:
