Pitbulls are also known as nanny dogs. They're actually one of the best pets to have around children and if they needs babysitting. Step your knowledge game up, friend.
What the hell are you talking about? Pit bulls are by FAR the most violent domesticated dog and are far more responsible for more dog bites and human fatalities than any other dog species by a longshot.
CDC Study: Breeds of Dogs Involved in Fatal Human Attacks in the U.S.
The following information is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC reported the following information from a study of breeds of dogs involved in fatal human attacks from 1979-1998. While the information lists certain breeds of dogs, this data does not indicate that neither the CDC nor Edgar Snyder & Associates supports breed-specific legislation.
Approximately 27 people died of dog bite attacks in 1997 and 1998.
There were approximately 238 dog bite-related fatalities over the past 20 years. Approximately 25 breeds of dogs were involved in theses deaths; pit bulls and rottweilers were involved in over half of the reported deaths.
Nearly a quarter (24%) of the deaths involved unrestrained dogs off their owners’ property. Over half (58%) of the deaths involved unrestrained dogs on their owners’ property. Approximately 17% of the deaths involved restrained dogs on their owners’ property. Less than one percent involved a restrained dog off its owner’s property.
Dog Attack Deaths and Maimings, U.S. & Canada, September 1982 to December 31, 2012
By compiling U.S. and Canadian press accounts between 1982 and 2012,1 Merritt Clifton, editor of Animal People, shows the breeds most responsible for serious injury and death.

Study highlights
The combination of large molosser breeds, including pit bulls, rottweilers, presa canarios, cane corsos, mastiffs, dogo argentinos, fila brasieros, and their mixes:
79% of attacks that induce bodily harm
72% of attacks to children
85% of attack to adults
69% of attacks that result in fatalities
77% that result in maiming
Discussion notes:
Even if the pit bull category was "split four ways," attacks by pit bulls and their closest relatives would still outnumber attacks by any other breed.
Pit bulls are noteworthy for attacking adults almost as frequently as children. This is a very rare pattern, only seen elsewhere in the bullmastiff/presa canario line.
If a pit bull or rottweiler has a bad moment, instead of being bitten, often someone is maimed or killed; that has now created off-the-chart actuarial risk.
