Uncertain grounds
bro, you cant give up.

Get involved in your community and work with organizers, activists, union, etc.

These politicians are clowns, and its largely because we aren't active and in with the people.

That requires a lot of time and energy and it's extremely difficult to not think you're spinning your wheels in mud

If someone is employed in that field then that's one thing but it's a tough sell to someone with a "regular job" to do all that stuff in addition to that and their family/social life just to get these type of results

You don't have to join the union, but you can financially support them. You can also find time to join them in being activist.

You can also find community orgs that are fighting for things you are interested in.

The whole point is there is power in numbers. We don't have money, but we got the boots on the ground.

I'm not telling anyone else not to vote.

I'm just not doing it personally anymore (...for now) :manny:

I feel you. I’m having a tough time finding the motivation to go out and vote for Gov in VA.

What’s frustrating is given my income, age and marital status, I wouldn’t benefit from any of these programs. I vote the way I do because it’s the right thing to do for society. But it seems the people who would benefit the most, Hillbillies in red states and working class folks in blue states, either keep voting against their own self interests or don’t give a fukk about voting in large enough numbers. I’m going to stop giving that much of a fukk too. :yeshrug:

The problem relies in the majority of WHITE PEOPLE in this country. Lets call it like it is. They continue to vote against their best interest election cycle after election thinking they're sticking it to the Dems and minority "welfare queens". This is country is fukked because of them. They're so stupid that they don't realize they are srewing themselves too.

Oh, they’ll be the death of the country politically and the world environmentally. They are sick hateful fukks.

But I also know that the people in my life who are on the lower end of the economic spectrum don’t vote like that. Then you look at seniors. The biggest recipients of government programs vote in large numbers for people who want to take those same benefits. At this point, all of it seems futile.

Poor people don’t vote in this country, across all races. That’s because they realized that their vote don’t matter.

The middle class is who seems to vote against their interests. We keep voting in candidates who only work to advance the interests of the top 10% of income earners.

We gotta start organizing, and stop depending on a magical political bullet.
