I'm fine with this and hope it ensures the legislative language is written such that benefits start ASAP. One of the biggest problems with Obamacare was that it took ages for it to actually go into effect, thus allowing republicans to scream about something that didn't exist yet. Now people have lived with Obamacare for years, largely like it, and are moreso afraid of it being taken away than anything else.
Dental and vision should be offered via Medicare starting January 1st, 2022. Anything else that can be implemented this year should be.
am i wrong, or are the dems on the cusp of a massive win here, if they get their shyt together? they can claim they;
-saved the government and the debt limit, whatever the fukk that means anymore
-passed the infrastructure bill
-passed most of biden's agenda
or they bust on all 3

You know who isn't going at Pelosi? House progressives. They're being team players, fighting hard for Biden's STATED agenda, and are ready to take the reduced bill that this process will inevitably produce. Flip side you have centrists in the House, and two a$$hole centrists in the senate, obstructing the president's goals. This is wild to me.

Please stop calling Manchin and Sinema 'centrists.' Mark Kelly is a centrist. Ossof and Warnock are centrists. All of them seem to be on Biden's side with passing his agenda.

That shyt is crazy how dental isn't already considered medical when it comes to Medicare. These insurance companies really be on some slick ass bs.
I got fukked around early this summer by my state playing games with my medical insurance. They took me off a plan I was on for year. Had to tell them to take me off the automatic health plan they put me on. Then I had to call my Medicare insurance people to make sure I stayed on the plan before the actual changes went into effect.
2 months later... I go to the dentist they tell me at the office the dental part of my insurance had expired two days before my appointment. I WAS PISSED! They (Medicare) never restored my dental benefits, and it says "dental included" on the card!
And Media painting like the progressives are causing all the problems.
Progressives can't win in the public view with media throw dirt when they finally have some type of sway. Hopefully, Jaypal stands firm and Biden lets his Deleware nuts hang and puts Coal Joe and Simena on blast.
