There nothing Biden can do to change how he’s viewed.

He was a compromise candidate who actually delivered:

I respect @No1 and what he says his people experience.

I respect @FAH1223 and his concerns.

But I worked with Obama’s staffers that became Roy coopers staffers, and despite my criticisms, These campaigns aren’t being run by 80 year olds and their making calculated choices on where they believe the party can win and where they want it to go.

Win or lose, I’m comfortable assuring folks the party is happily moving left on idea even if they want the face to feel less cavalier

I don’t think it’s for lack of left-leaning people. The people I know still in politics love it like they’re competing for their favorite sports team and they make calculations based on what they think will win while giving their voters something. I can’t just get down with the pace of it all. I just think Biden never had enough affection and currency from voters to survive the combination of inflation and his age. To win, he’s going to have just make Trump look like an existential threat that forces those on the fence to the booth.

I mean, Clinton won the presidency over 30 years ago and is younger than both Biden and Trump. If Biden loses, history will say he should’ve stepped down - at minimum having a bunch of new people out there forces the media to cover Democratic ideas and debates. For what it’s worth, I think Big Gretch would’ve beat Trump @wire28 :manny:

This is a slow burn. For the folks waiting for the interest rates to drop to buy a house is only hurting themselves if they have the means now. Those house prices are going to be insane when the rates go anywhere near 5%

this dikkhead went viral the other day for this, and it kinda sums up this thread perfectly :dead:

there's literally nothing biden can say to refute this kinda sentiment. yeah, we all know trump isn't bringing down home prices/interest, etc...but how does biden tell that to people? and how can he even say that people don't have every right to feel this way? because frankly, they do

at least gas is coming down. 3.69 in vegas :banderas: i rememeber when it was 5 bucks

There are talking points Biden can and should use to defend himself on housing. Problem is…the country tuned him out a long time ago.
