You're just influenced by society. Western society is very materialistic, and makes people feel like if they don't adopt to that that they're doing it wrong.

I'm happy living below my means. You should be too.

thats easy to say. even i say it to myself from time to time....................but god damn if i dont hear that "you dont want all this?" voice from time to time

i hate it. like some of you would say - its so demonic. it really is.


its fukkin with a lot of things in my life, i cant enjoy it. i take my camera out and start takin pictures, and if some serious car drives by i start thinkin..."man, fukk you doin with that camera, you aint makin money with it"


or, i go out with my friends, and there's some local band playing...i look at them and think "man, the fukk are they doin, they wont make any $ out of this, theyre wasting their time"...

fukk that. I've tried that scene out for a little bit.. I never enjoyed myself that much.
-People throwing around money to make themselves feel/look good.
-People talking when they have nothing to say, for the sake of status.
-You don't connect to anybody really.
-Rude people who show no real love around you. Men act harder than they are, women act fake nymphomaniacal and loud.

I enjoy myself more with a couple friends, a smoke and a drink. Or a meal/activity with my extended family. I enjoy spending that money and time because the sentiments behind it are heartfelt.

Well, we all want money. The question is why. If you want money so you can buy fancy things and impress people you have a problem. Me, a rolex wouldn't do shyt for me. A porsche would probably just increase the stress levels in my life (i.e worrying about it every time it gets scratched). I just don't really care about social approval.

You should be concerned about having money -- for your security. Not for shiny new things. I usually laugh at people who spend all their money on crap.

Im having inner doubts and conflicts with my other self woadie.

Its like this - when I dig into my heart and ask myself "what do you want to do, what do you REALLY want to do in life" the answers are, non particular order;

travel the world, make a living with my photography and videos, make documentaries about my travels, write books, see places, meet people....that's what i always come up with


but when i go on my facebook, i see couple of my friends living that money life, they ride around in porsches, they post pics from the clubs, bottles, girls, even my girl friends on fb seem like they live some semi hollywood life.....


i wont lie, it irks me...i start feelin this weird...feelin guilty not doing what they do, not drivin those cars, not being in the clubs


and worst part - its as if i hear their voices for example, im goin thru my photos, readin some travel blogs or watching documentaries....and then i see their shyt and feel this complex, as if i hear them say "the fukk you doin you broke fukk, you aint doin right, you gotta be jokin watchin those dumb ass movies about travel, wheres your whip?"

....is it me? is this normal, to be shook by someone with big bank? i dont like it.....

M3h don't believe the hype breh. The grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence. Most cats be faking it til they make it, especially on FB. Very few cats are bout that life, best believe more than likely their racking in a series of debt.

Take into consideration all these dumb ass hollywood celebs, rappers, athletes who's tenure is rather short-lived, in a span of 3-5 years they'll almost be completely relevant for the most part, not mention that within another 2-3 years of that time span, they'll be enormously in debt /failing bk / inducted for tax evasion.

Now take into consideration, all the sheep / followers / fans who tried to mimicking their favorite celebrities lifestyle's also clouded their judgement and possibly lead them down that same road of debt.

Just live your life.

The club life aint about sh*t, you seriously want your brain to be on the cognitive decline during prime stages of your life, not mention all the diseases out there from sleeping with random club rats. All the hoes in the world won't make you happy either. To tell you the truth, I get bored halfway through f*cking them, on some yeah this feels good, but did I just do all that to f*ck this attractive chick(the preparations: haircut, new clothes, cologne, watch, shoes, glasses, act like I care.)

Point is enjoy your life and do you. but what do I know just some broke ass student

Also, alot of cats with "big bank rolls" are some of the cheapest, secretive, cut throat people you'll ever come across.
