The PS5 version of that game was NEVER actually reviewed by most outlets, but we didn’t get “concern” from the usual suspects then, i wonder why

I think some folks made up their minds when the game was shown 4 years ago that it was instacop. Including me.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ran through it twice.
I'm hoping I will get the same satisfaction with this.
I'll play it now, for free, and cop later on the 5 if it's worthy.

But we aren’t talking about reasonable people here, we are talking stan narratives and some people here can’t be consistent to save their lives
