Indian villagers beat the brakes off a bear for eating a baby

Breh they're living in tents and makeshift shanty homes. Ceiling fans, running water, 4k HDR televisions and Comcast Home Security systems are slightly out of their scope. It's not so much about how the baby got there as it is the bear wondering how they got there. They literally live amongst wild animals. Mom probably went out back to the lake to handwash some laundry and the bear darted in the tent and snatched up the baby like a sack lunch on a 3rd grade field trip. In that environment, it only takes a second for a predator to prey.

There's countless of videos of missing villagers/children being found dead by the community inside of alligators, snakes, ect. What we're doing now-- exchanging messages with full bellies while posted up with Netflix in the background and the temperature set to 69, with our kids sleeping soundly upstairs -- is a blessing.

This is why no matter what sort of self defense you know it's not worth it if you are outnumbered. Even a team of guys with no hands can ultimately be dangerous if you end up in a position where it's hard to defend yourself.

On another note, these type of communities need to have numerous big dogs roaming around at all times. These people have to also deal with leopards and at times even tigers.
