The embassy staff told my guy, that he shouldnt think a watermelon bought on the streets of India is safe to eat just because of its thick rind (skin)..
The villagers who transport the melons from far off farms on donkey carts, and small trucks dont ever wash their hands even after shytting.
The poor melon on its way to its final market would have passed through numerous shyt and bacteria stained hands.
Hence why it has to be cleaned at least 3 times over with strong chemical detergents, then rinsed thoroughly.
If you fail to clean it properly, and you run a knife through it..the blade will transport the external bacterias and pathogens into the clean interior of the melon and fukk you up.
He says they also insisted the knife be clean as fukk too..
