Aside from phishing/PII exposures and all around pointless thread for the sake of trolling (looking at you @Gab), this is a kind of a petty ban 
I disagree with banning someone because you don't like their opinion or are caught lying. A LOT of mahfukkas should be banned if thats the case.
If thats going to be your grounds for banning, then that needs to be reflected in a user agreement or community ethos that has or is suggested to be acknowledged before users start posting. Its literally as simple as a "Read Here Before Posting in TheColi" permasticky thread.
