Benoit. Not even a question. Angle had all of 2 years of genuine good wrestling, then settled into his formula match of finisher/kick out spam that he'd have with anyone. Benoit was a far more rounded performer in the ring who could adapt to other wrestlers and styles instead of the other way around.


Also, Arn Anderson was ABSOLUTELY a better wrestler than Flair was. A better promo more often than not, just a different promo style that wasn't as bombastic and over the top. There was never a point in the Four Horsemen where Ric Flair was actually the best wrestler.

Benoit was a slightly better wrestler to me. But Kurt was the entertainer out of the two.
Who was the better champion out of the two? Who had the best spots? Best signatures? Best music? Who's look was better?

"Who had better spots" is a really shytty way to judge wrestlers.

Kurt's an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling so there would be a very small list of men that could be better wrestlers.

Seriously though, being able to pick up a mic is a huge part of professional wrestling and Angle was always good at that while being a machine in the ring. Benoit was the better technician and more consistent in-ring performer. But I'd give Angle the nod as his mic/character work was better by a wider margin than Benoit's edge in between the ropes.
