I’m either stuck between Goldfinger or Casino Royale

On a side note: where can I stream the movies? I want to do a marathon watch

I don’t remember a lot about the Spy who loved me, but that opening ski chase was bananas
Best Henchman Ever.

It's hard to rank Bond movies since they are all products of very different eras.

My overall favorite movie is In her majesties secret service.

I used the Pandemic to rewatch all the Bond movies and as a result made different lists

My favorite movie by actor is:

Daniel Craig: Casino Royale
Pierce Brosnan: Golden Eye (Brosnans Bond movies aged terribly though and feel like generic 90's action movies now.)
Timothy Dalton: The living daylights
Roger Moore: For your eyes only
Sean Connery: Thunderball and From Russia with love.

You can also rank the Bond movies by sub genre as in:

Spy thrillers:
From Russia with love
Casino Royale
The living daylights
A Quantum of Solace
For your eyes only
Dr. No

Blockbuster Action movies:
In her majesties secret service
Thunderball
The Spy who loved me
Moonraker
Goldfinger
Golden Eye

Camp
Moonraker
Octop*ssy (The title alone has me :mjlol:)

The weird ones:
Live and let die
The man with the golden gun
You only live twice
Skyfall (beautiful cinematography, weird storyline and wtf @ the third act)
License to kill

Trash:
Spectre (best of the worst it just fell apart at the end, you can't just try to retroactively create a BCU)
Tomorrow never dies
The World is not enough
Diamonds are forever ( :flabbynsick:)
A view to a kill (:flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick:)
Die another day (I prefer to pretend this abomination doesn't exist and refuse to rewatch it. Terrible cgi, nonsensical plot, a north korean general who gets turned into a white guy through plastic surgery and becomes a robotic super soldier at the end? Who the fukk signed off on this? )

As for your sidenote, all the Bond movies were on Youtube for free over christmas, I don't know if that's still the case. I'd recommend the BluRay collection though, they have very well made and interesting behind the scenes documentaries on there for all the Bond movies from Connery up until Timothy Dalton.

Bloodline
It's always a toss up between License to Kill and Goldeneye.

Tomorrow never dies is the most underrated of the films, it's a lot of fun especially after the intensity and personal conflict of Goldeneye.

The first part of the world is not enough is actually good Bond but the second part completely falls apart.

Casino royale.

But like @karim said, bond movies are hard to rank because they’re all based on the era and the actor. It’s actually why I think it’s the best film franchise ever because there’s a flavor for everyone and we all have different ideas of what’s right and what’s not.

For me, Casino Royale, From Russia With Love, Skyfall, The Living Daylights, and OHMSS are the cuts above the rest. That’s how I like my bond. With an edge, more character less gadgets, and on an espionage mission that’s not larger than life. While also digging around at the character a bit.

But I also get in the mood for the spy who loved me or live and let die or goldfinger, which are over the top. Even thunderball, which is probably my fav pure action movie Bond flick.
