couldn't get thru it
movie had waaay to many political undertones that were blatantly obvious. Too many plot holes and they left out too much of the back story. Too many unanswered questions. Movie had a direct to dvd vibe to it.
the movie itself is trash...
the premise itself is one of the greatest ever...
imagine nolan or fincher making a similar movie....
fincher made fight club and this had aspects of fight club as well.
so i don't get what more was needed.
maybe i have lived that real sh!t for longer and the movie resonated with me.
art barr
I would say both movies had some similiar elements but different tones.
The tone of fight club is man's struggle to find himself in a society in which he is put in an environment where is he is not really viewed as a man, and his search for just primal male camaraderie that doesn't really exist at least within the US anymore.
The tone of in time is to take back what the government and the rich have taken from the common man...instead of money it is time...
extremely oversimplified of course but your a smart guy, u get my drift
