Hope there's puddin' in the clink...
I agree with this...
Basically. This is the same rhetoric they're usingMLK and the Civil Rights leaders mugshots are iconic in a freedom fighter type of way
Facts. But think of the governmental principle of rule of law, which means no one is above the law. We’ve seen this to be a fallacy for centuries as it pertains to race, but Trump with all of these cases would create a constitutional crisis if he wasn’t treated like everyone else and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. That’s a big difference I see between republicans/libertarians and MAGAs. MAGAs never paid attention in civics and government class.Basically. This is the same rhetoric they're using
The idea of mugshots being cool is not a black thing, it's an American thing. There have been iconic mugshots for 100 years
This is a country built on rebellion. This is why we celebrate people who say fukk the rules and succeed in spite of those rules. This country idolized Billy The Kid, idolized Bonnie and Clyde, idolized the mob.
You know why lockdowns didn't work here? Because you're not gonna tell Americans to stay in the house and wear masks all the time and expect them to do it silently. This is America
The reason I saw the Trump=Pac angle coming is because since it's inception, hip hop has been the most potent, addicting, and tangible form of rebellion in the world. Hip hop is the spirit of rebellion and the voice of the underdog. Anyone can identify with rebelling or feeling like "they out to get me". This is why hip hop took over the world as aggressively as it did
And this is why one of these old ass politicians should've known a Trump arrest/mugshot was gonna make him cool to a lot of people. They should've seen this shyt coming miles away
Don’t these same Trump supporters say to stop resisting arrest and to respect the Blue? Law and orderBasically. This is the same rhetoric they're using
