Wolverine walked right up to Jean and stabbed her in the chest. The Sentinels had a much faster healing factor than Wolverine on top of the other overpowered shyt in their arsenal. As far as I can tell Days had its shyt together expect for Kitty's time traveling powers and how Xavier told Quicksilver he wasnt needed any more.

Sentinels dont regenerate if you atomize their matter to sub-atomic particles... she was just fukking with wolverine. Just imagine she sees a sentinel she's gonna throw everything she has at it. wolverine was struggling with each step. but then we can call it plot convenience

Even if you believe Jean could destroy the sentinals before they could copy her powers it would have been stupid to save her. When she was killed she was in the process of indiscremanetly murdering everyone around her, bringing her back and trying use her as a weapon would only mean some of the people fighting with them wouldn't have survived long enough to see the sentinal war, including Kitty who they needed for the time traveling.

True... shyt for all we know Jean could have wiped out all the sentinels and the remaining humans and saved the mutants in the enslavement camps giving them a choice, join or die... What's a sentinel to a omega level mutant who can disintergrate matter and have vast powers like that....
