I just watched all of season 3 over the past few days. As everyone said, the scenes with Dana & the Brody family were absolutely horrible. The show picked up as soon as they stopped showing them. Just a very mediocre season.

I think season 4 should be fine. In a world like Homeland, the writers should be able to create fresh, new interesting characters.I could not understand why they were holding on to old characters (the brodys) in season 3.

Brody had to go. I know people enjoy him & he has a huge fanbase, but he no longer made sense being on the show.

of course he isnt, hes basically the show...

carrie fukks up.. saul gives her the .. carrie ends up being right :wow:

Nah this season was more like

Carrie fukks up...saul gives her the ...carrie fukks up some more...quinn gives her the ::bustback:...Carrie essentially commits treason...Lockhart promotes her to a prime posting in the middle east

Carrie spent the entire season being a lose cannon and actively sabotaging everything the rest of the CIA was trying to accomplish...because she was in love with someone who nearly suicide bombed the president and literally murdered the Vice President within the last year. She was no longer the brilliant analyst who's crazy actions led to results....she was just fukking crazy.

The writers RUINED the Carrie Mathison character this season. RUINED.

Way better than S2, shyt was dope. But I have a feeling this show has pissed off the critics crowd, and won't be as acclaimed as it was in S1 and S2 (which still got a bunch of nominations for some reason).

Finished the season in a week and I got to say the show felt completely different. To be fair there was probably no way the show could of sustained the constant tension and suspense in every episode like the first season, even still one can't help but wonder that the writers hit a couple walls with this show. Still a good show but I dunno
