Yeah that's the part I don't get. Did Carrie get Saul on board after helping Brody escape, or did Saul find out about it without her knowledge and have the dudes at the tower hold him? We need some exposition this Sunday explaining this.

It could be either way. It definitely appears that Saul is the one who arranged to have Brody held at the tower, because there is no way possible that Carrie could have arranged a payment of $10 million, which is the amount that El Nino said he could turn Brody in for and also the amount that Saul paid. Now it is possible of course that Carrie did arrange it as some sort of favor but they turned him in anyway, but I highly doubt that she would have trusted them guys enough to not turn Brody in. Also, it seemed to me that Carrie believed that Saul agreed with her about Brody's innocence but they didn't really seem to discuss it, and she was kinda surprised that Saul was not too interested in finding the actual bomber.

Its possible Saul suspected Brody's innocence but he wanted confirmation before bringing him back into the fold. Also, in order for his plan to work he needed Brody out of sight so that they could hang Carrie out as bait. Its for this reason that I believe Saul was on board with Carrie from the start, and he arranged to have Brody held, not Carrie.
