I don't see how anyone could have watched last night's episode and not seen how forced the inclusion of Brody's family is in this show. They are totally unnecessary to anything and this includes Brody himself.
The remainder of the season should be all about this op that Carrie is running on the Iranians and Saul figuring out a way to keep that douchebag senator from getting the job running the CIA.

I thought the same thing when they showed that scene in the preview. That Iranian is going to have to ask them really specific lie detector questions like they do on Maury Povich.

I see what Ganza was going for with the Dana story arc, how an innocent teenage girl can get sucked into a world of lies, deceit and tragedy because of her father....Dana's actually very honest and forthright unlike basically everyone else on the show. She's surrounded by liars and manipulators when she has absolutely no hidden agenda of her own, just to be "normal"

YET, I cant help but feel like so many shows are forcing these angsty-female subplots on us to attract a more "casual" CW-esque audience that would find the events surrounding Dana to be "gripping"...but really the show is otherwise mostly catered to nerds and espionage-heads who puke at the sight of such drivel.

This kinda horseshyt works well for shows like Game of Thrones and Boardwalk cause they have like 10+ subplots all moving at the same time with almost equal importance. Homeland at max, has maybe 4-5, and theyre mostly interrelated except for Dana.... so for them to spend 15 minutes an episode on her cumming-of-age bullshyt kinda sucks the main appeal of the show...out of the show

She's a good actress and conveys emotion well, but the writing for her role is not very interesting and very cliche

Its crazy that the drone attacks is the reason all of this started in the first place, now the CIA and president will focus on drone attacks even more.

Seems like things will get bloody.

im sick of the dana crap again sory to bring it up but its just like when 24 had the main story and then we'd get kim bauer stuck in some cabin in the woods with a crazed psycho WE DONT CARE.

i was hoping dana and her bf would blow their brains out so that would be the end of them but i guess were not that lucky

showtime be BULLshytTING with this 47 min episode.. minus the recap thats like 45 min of show.. its not like theres commercials..

this network always pulls this 50 min or under crap.
