Quinn's character is weird. He's supposed to be a heartless assassin. He clearly picked the wrong profession.

I read an analysis of season 2 explaining why Dana was getting so much screentime. Her subplot with Finn was supposed to parallel Brody/Walden. Both Dana/Brody were profoundly affected by hit-and-run/drone strike. I'm guessing this season Dana will slowly begin to empathize with her father.

Also, two episodes and no Brody? wtf. I'm actually getting bored of Carrie (even though I liked her in the past). At this point I'd rather see Uncle Mike than witness another tired, old, yet another Carrie psycho outburst. Her craziness is starting to wear thin with me.

I don't mind Dana as much as you guys do, but it's crazy how the writers made it all about her while Baccarin is stuck playing a clichéd mom, and her son can barely get a line in.

Her subplot is supposed to enhanced Brody's story somehow. The writers know we hate Dana so there has to be a point to all of this.

Or perhaps there's a simpler explanation: The actress playing her slept with the producers to get a bigger role.
