A better defense would overcome this breh, this defense isn't there yet to play lights out for a whole postseason. McGloin isn't terrible, but he's not good enough to win these high stakes games with a defense like ours. Who knows tho, maybe Goodell reinstates Aldon and our pass rush becomes enough of a monster to mask the secondary weakness.

Honestly, I think it's between yall and the Steelers/Ravens now.

Our defense shows up here and there but it's not good enough to carry us through the playoffs.

I'll be shocked if we win our playoff game. The only was I see it is if Aldon Smith comes back and our front 7 becomes the best in the league.

I dont know, but I would rather be positive right now than dwell on this devastating injury that just happened and to be honest......this isnt impossible. Yeah its highly unlikely we will get far into playoffs now, but hasnt there been crazier unexplained things in the world of sports? Tyson-Douglas, the miracle on ice, the mighty ducks beating team iceland in the junior olympics

Look at this season, who in the summer would have guessed that not only would we get to playoffs but possibly clinch a first round bye? We've come a long way to get here for it to end like this, but if we lose next month than fukk it, we still made playoffs after a 14 year drought .
