The funny thing about it is Jay had made several tracks with auto tune on it but after he recorded the single diss, he decided to scrap all the songs using auto tune and make an album with no auto tune.

The industry and many artists found it more feasible to maximize Auto Tune usage...
Because now a rapper doesn't have to Pay a singer for features.....
Because Autotune got every rapper feeling they can sing....
And then at the same time it makes REAL SINGERS who know Thier worth Null and Void....as Usher has said Autotune has killed real R&B
Because Autotune has become the Business model which allows this plethora of Thot rappers and huslters to be signed for the LOW

The soul left with auto-tune. I miss the pain you heard in people's voice, hip-hop or r&b. Jay missed in the context that this shyt has run rampant, but not in the message.
