The thirst for relevancy only bit them in the ass for the rest of that season really. Although,losing those picks DID suck( but as a Knicks fan I'm used to seeing our picks traded just cuz ) But as far as depth goes, the only guy you miss out of them is Wilson Chandler and Anthony Randolph( for much needed size of the bench). Felton was just another pg who only thrived under D'antoni, Mosgov is a stiff who would've gotten less and less minutes had he stayed on the Knicks, and seeing Danilo in Denver some it seems like he's regressed in some areas.

But if we did keep those players, we wouldn't have been able to get Tyson Chandler, probably the most important player on the Knicks now. Also, when healthy, depth isn't really an issue with this team either, with the emergence of Lin, Shumpert, Novak, and the addition of J.R. Smith. so naw, there isn't any reason to regret the trade honestly.

Well we wouldnt have those guys plus melo plus chandler plus Lin and shump. We play much better d now dantoni ball was getting us anywhere . We have a bench now and due to the ruling we can keep Novak and Lin plus get one of Felton/miller/Kidd sooo yea it was fine . I only miss the draft picks but other than that harrelson and Jordan can take mozgov place

I hated the trade from the jump, thought it was just stupid and didn't show any type of foresight, especially with better players on the horizon in CP3, Deron and Dwight.

Had Melo been traded to the Nets, the Nets wouldn't have the assets to get Deron and it doesn't take a huge stretch to think the Jazz would approach the Knicks with an offer.

this is correct. but since 90% of the league isn't winning a ring anyway, I would take a young, entertaining, hardworking squad that had financial flexibility and assets over whatever the fukk they are now.
