It's what infuriates me. Once that perimeter is broken, teams are getting what they want whether it's paint points or open 3's. I keep saying it but it makes me angry the FO chose not to draft Ryan Dunn who even as a rookie, has shown better defense than Bridges. Even if Bridges shots aren't falling, if he's locking his man down on the perimeter, that evens itself out almost & can turn into transition points off turnovers. He's playing horrific on both ends lately
The thing is I like Dadiet more what they are trying to do than Dunn. Dadiet has a legit 3 ball and his off the ball awareness is great. On a team with Brunson and KAT, you got to space the floor when the ball isn’t in your hands. I think he could be the back up forward Behind Bridges and OG next year and not much would be lost production wise. The defense could use some improvement but he doesn’t look lost and the effort is good.

The issue is the Thibs development cycle means we ain’t seeing him get consistent playing minutes until next season maybe the 2026 season. Same for Kolek who I think is the backup PG next year.
