Its a poorly constructed roster with no depth. That’s why i looked at y’all crazy for even mentioning playoffs. We have no backup PG, Len & Jones are trash and should both be backups and we’re young asf everywhere that matters.
No one could’ve seen Collins getting suspended but real teams have depth. Jabari’s ok solely as a scorer but he’s not a playmaker or defender. Huerter’s another injury away from being considered injury prone plus a lack of a defensive identity. This is gonna get worse before it gets better

As of now I see trae and hunter being the building blocks. Collins reddish Bruno and huerter gonna have to show ALOT more if they gonna be apart of a winning team...and honestly I wouldn't mind this squad underachieving for a shot at Edwards or wiseman..we need a one more legit star prospect.

100% this. This was always a developmental year for me. People wanted to crown Huerter as a key part of our rebuild...he’s just ok to me. He’s been dinged up his whole time and struggles with consistency. Collins fukked up alotta the goodwill he had built with this suspension, he comes off as selfish and stupid and even with the limited sample size from him this yr IDK if he’s an All Star big. I think he’s good to really good but we may have slightly overhyped him. Hunter’s gonna be a star, we’re still waiting on Cam. Bruno will be a serviceable backup big.
But I’m cool with 25-30 wins this season if we can get another top 5 pick. This team has alotta holes in it

The roster isn't as bad if you have Collins and Huerter in the starting lineup and Cam coming off the bench. With them, the roster becomes a lot more balanced and you essentially have dead weight only at the Center position while Vince, Crabbe, Bembry, Jabari, and Turner all play smaller roles. Speaking of, no one expected Len to be this bad. Him being bad essentially set us back big time. Having Cam out there gives us additional defensive flexibility on the wing and he look like he was starting to figure out what he could (and couldn't do) on offense. We basically have a all that could go wrong, went wrong type of season so far. It is what it is.
As far as the real teams have depth comment, name me 1 team that can afford to lose 2 of its top 3 players for an extended period of time and stay afloat. Just 1, let alone a super young team with its main core being 22 and under.

At this point, we definitely need to keep stockpiling talent. If we can't get Wiseman (which we probably won't), we definitely need a decent-to-good free-agent signing at the big position (going have to spend the money on somebody anyway). What we have right now is probably the worst group at Center in the league. Len being shyt set this team back and Collins have missed a 3rd of the season twice now so if he needs to be moved for us to get better, so be it.

Hold on breh, 2 of our top 3 players aren’t out. Our top 3 is Trae, Collins & now Hunter. Y’all gotta stop this overrating of Kevin Huerter. He’s a surprisingly good athlete and a solid 3 point shooter who has been banged up since he’s been here. He’s a solid player coming off the bench but he is not a starting SG for a playoff caliber team IMO. Hunter has shown much more to me than Huerter is potentially capable of.
So in my view you’re missing 1 of your top 3 players, so to answer your question my expectation would be to be where Phoenix is right now. We shouldn’t be at 4 wins right now
And as far as everything that could go wrong, I disagree. Huerter and Collins not being available definitely wasn’t what we were expecting but what else has really gone wrong? Trae’s been great, Hunter is getting better, Jabari has been better than advertised. Yes Len has regressed but this team overall wasn’t that talented to begin with and yes we’re still very young. Like I told y’all, expect things to go wrong, expect injuries, expect rookie mistakes...some of y’all had us at 40 and 50 wins with this roster, y’all gotta be realistic about this and stop being so extreme. This team will be lucky to win 30-35 wins
