If I had to speculate it would be if we somehow couldn’t get a deal with John done, the comparisons I’ve read have been to John and Montrez harrell

Dedmon is being dangled for a backup pg. Onyeka is a great shot blocker and rebounder. He can even stretch the floor a little. Big and strong already.

Obi perimeter defense isn't that good. He wouldn't help trae defensively. He is relatively old too

Yea but Onyeka’s game isn’t like John’s.

im thinking this is an all in move since its playoffs or bust this year. Defense and 3pt shooting are two of our biggest issues so I get it from the defensive side of things
