Tank for a lottery pick they said :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

You nikkas. Disgust me :hhh::hhh::hhh:

Trade the pick

Hawks have the youngest roster in the NBA with no surefire star in this draft. Get a veteran wing and let’s get a playoff level roster. Coach Pierce ain’t got another year to baby sit

Whoa whoa whoa fill me in what’s out there? :mjgrin:
:dead: This pick was supposed to save the franchise let you tell it breh I ain't forgot :russ:

I think this is a must trade pick. We need to parley this pick into a pick next year and a vet
I'm not mad at this in theory but I need names. We don't need "a vet" just to have one. And the pick has to be unprotected or at least projected top 20 to be worth it most likely. It's still the 6th pick regardless, there's value in that no matter how they downplay this draft class. No need to give it away for pennies on the dollar

For the first time in a long time I trust the team scouting. I think if they find someone worth getting, even if it's above us, Travis will go and get him.

This pick was (is) supposed to be the last lottery pick for this franchise for a while. If they keep it they need a potential star. I don’t look at this roster and feel like you have another star player outside of Trae.

John Collins is gonna want a max deal and he’s not a max player. Clint Capela could low key be the 2nd best overall player on this team and he hasn’t played a minute yet. Cam, Huerter, Hunter have played well in spurts and stretches but are any of y’all convinced that any of them are stars? Schlenk needs to draft a star or trade for one with this pick. Stop loading up on rotational wings

Honestly, we just really need to develop our players. Look at Toronto... they do a really good job developing their talent. Siakam and FVV were not seen as start talent when they first came in. In addition to Trae and JC we have at least two other players that could really be something.

Which brings me to my next point... Pearce aint it brehs. I really wish we could've gotten Monty Williams. He's always been a solid coach and he's doing good with Phoenix lately. Even that former Brooklyn breh is solid. But yeah I've seen enough of Pearce. :camby:

Cam is. Might not be all the way there next season but you will see a step forward and by 2022 he's not missing an all star game the rest of the decade :hubie:

I don't see a perineal all star available at 6 but there are a couple guys that could help the rest of the young core take another step. Haliburton could average 7 assists off the bench and get the guys the same looks Trae gets them. Avdija is Lamar Odom with a yarmulke. Hayes is in that Harden/D-Lo mold and could provide some more scoring firepower. One of those 3 will be there at 6 and could fit in nicely with our core. Just comes down to who Schlenk likes the most.

You may be right about this, unfortunately. But let's see how this next season shakes out.

Watching this Dallas/LA game, I'm thinking the heat is on Coach Pierce next season. Luka/Kristaps are both on the bench and I'm watching THJ, Seth, and the rest of Dallas role players light it up. You see how Monty had the Suns playing and you see how the Grizz was playing when they were healthy. Coach is going to have to show he can get down with the X and O's next season as this might be the make or break year for him.

My exact thought. All these young guys aren't it. We need a number two start and some solid veterans
