He made this before PAC died. Half of LAD was recorded between late 95- early 96.

Yeah pretty much. He had to have had a diss track for Pac during that time frame & just doctored up Long Kiss after his death. LAD was pretty much his response to his detractors at the time. Pac being one of the main ones.

Great song, but morally questionable. So was my 44 make sure y'all kids don't grow though. Clearly made after Pac died cuz of the Lil Cease crippled me accident reference. Could easily have dropped other references like Laugh now cry later, we ain't mad atcha, etc.

BIG should have known better than to do these verses on LA radio. Who knows if it would have changed the outcome, but it couldn't have helped. You got a whole double album of material to choose from and you intentionally pick the one going at a dead man in his back yard.

Puffy lying about it not going at Pac, Cease telling the truth:

Write a subliminal to a dead man and claim in interviews you have nothing against Pac, brehs.

How was Big not a coward?
If your people are planning to kill someone you should rap about what you're gonna do first? This was real beef, not rap beef.

He played it right rap-wise. Where he fukked up was going to Cali so soon and performing LKG on the radio.
