it's memphis breh....

:comeon:

I'm from NC.

Been a fan of acts like Geto Boys and Dungeon Fam from back inna day.

I never thought of myself as a "southern rapper" cause I had years of being a Hip Hop Head before that or even West Coast was a thing. But I always been lyrical

I don't like the idea that Memphis gets a different scale than anyone else.

I'm sure Memphis has mad talent.. can't front I don't think I have ever been a big fan of a Memphis act.

I fukked with it. At the time I was working in radio tryna get into the music industry, so I fukked with it heavy. Thought it captured the song making process at that time well; MPC's getting the right mic, working with amateurs to get the right performance.

Along with Get Rich Or Die Tryin and Boyz N Da Hood, it was one of the many movies that I've brought on DVD many times....

Movie was good.

Skinny Black was a busta too. I'm still puzzled at how the Police was at DJays crib.

Due to the unique cultural significance of "hustle" and "flow" in African American culture, translating the film's title for international audiences proved difficult. In Russia, for instance, the title was translated to "The Bustle and the Motion", while in Italy, it was appended with "Il colore della musica" ("The Color of Music"). In China, the film was released under the title "Street Hip Hop", reflecting an attempt to capture its essence for non-English-speaking viewers.
