Thanos-Comic-Hulk-Pet-Chained.jpg

Separating the comic universe from the movie universe, Thanos had the Power stone and a huge advantage.

Plus I don't know the back story of this cover art.

Very simple Thanos has beaten all his enemies .Thor was the last hold out. He theb takes over the universe.

Also seperate comics from movies the power stone has never shown any significant physical power boosts just destructive capabilities from energy bursts.

In reality, Hulk would have easily defeated Thanos, but you remember during this scene Thanos already had the Power stone. It was a wrap for Hulk after that
Thanos never used the power stone to beat Hulk. We would've seen the stone glow up if he was using it.

It was all on his own strength :wow:

first time I ever saw Star Lord getting props:dwillhuh:
He caught me off gaurd at first because he was giving Tony a hard time too. Then I noticed him and Strange were the ones giving Snap Crackle Pop the most trouble when they faced off. It might be his celestial heritage thar gives him an edge but he impressed me.

Listening to the directors audio, and they’re saying they don’t think Thanos was using the stones to whoop the Hulk. I think the Hulk can be stronger, but he’s coming off of Ragnarok and was fighting a skilled fighter for the first time.

They say that the Hulk wasn’t staying back out of fear, he was using the moment to prove his autonomy. Banner only allows him out when he needs his help. I’m sure that ass whipping played a part tho.

As for Thanos’ plan... I read that even the gauntlet can’t create matter out of nothing, it’s vast but finite. You don’t cull the herd now and let the remains build something new and more balanced, then you’ll have the same issues. Gammoras planet proved his point in his mind .

If this is true he had no choice.

I can't roll with this. Star Lord is cool and all, but if he didn't become blinded by his anger/grief over recently deceased p*ssy, Stark and them would have snatched that gauntlet off of Thanos' hand. He cost them the win.
True but in his defense Gamora was more than just p*ssy to him. B4 he realized what Snapple did to her, him and Strange were surprisingly doing good.
