That explains everything if you are not trolling you are socially awkward. Some dudes like you take any Avenue they have to interact with a woman as a green light to try and chase. The reality is these were not your friends, they were acquaintances, classmates and co-workers. You interacted because you most likely had to or were around each other. That doesn't not mean there was interest.
