actually he adapted his style to Jordans because that was kobe's basketball personality. kobe's dad's game was more like magics. kobe was never magic Mentally. you have to be more of a pass first guy to be like that. kobe like mj think he can only truly trust himself to put the ball in the basket. thats why he plays like mike. in addition he is about the same size as mij.
the truth is, if you're not from chicago you were not feeling mj like that back when you were a kid. i didnt even know about him when he came into the league. but i knew about magic and the lakers. cause i'm from L.A. and my pops/unlce, etc had ties to norm nixon so we had laker ties. magic was my dude. and i felt sick to my stomach when i heard he had aids. i was getting on the school bus. will never forget that day. all the clowning we would do on the bus was not going on that day. the bus was quiet as a church mouse. hard dudes crying like little girls. i never cry. i shed a good one for #32. so i can only imagine bean jr being a hoops geek. losing sleep over it.

he was thinking about the insane reception kobe got in last olympics. even lebron had to admit it. "kobe is by far the most popular athlete here period" i'm paraphrasing but thats pretty much what everyone found out. even kobe didnt know it was that insane when they were in china. everyone assumed LBJ since espn hyped him up like crazy and nike pushes him more so then kobe since kobe is the old and lbj is the new. yet and still china went NUTZ for kobe. like no other athlete there. they went crazier for kobe then they did for Yao Ming one of their own. thats insane. they really appreciate that dude overseas. because they dont understand the hate over here. they just judge him on his game. and they also love the fact that unlike any of these other nba stars. kobe is partially and overseas guys because he grew up in italy and philly. he speaks multiple languages(english, italian and spanish). kobe loves soccer and has said he loves one of soccers best players. so again. this pushes kobe into the stratosphere when we're talking about overseas love.

Gotta disagree breh, I'm from Brooklyn, New York and most of us wanted to be like Mike, WE WERE feeling him, especially when the 1st pair of Jordan's dropped. Everybody stuck their tongues out and did double pumps for nothing. Not many wanted to be Magic. We all wanted to be like Mike at one point of our life, when my squad needed a basket I channeled my inner Jordan to perfection every time.
