pretty much.. Their beef was with Supreme.. Irv was collateral damage

It was a weaker case, and based mostly on less than entirely credible informants, and it was tried together with Supreme, who was convicted on all counts.

Irv and Murder Inc were probably guilty on some low level federal counts, (any rap music label back then too) but they weren't really a criminal organization, but since they were associated with Supreme, the prosectors made the most of it.
