I've been playing Outland (I know it's not this year) and it's great. I've had it for a long ass time, but I think it's clear that these kind of budget games are definitely a good look and something that was a PLUS coming out of this gen.

Retail game DLC? Now that's for a different thread.

the smaller games are funner than a lot of these newer games because they go back to the core of gaming. It's about fun. They are a lot more willing to experiment with the gameplay and focus on mechanics than just wrapping a generic fps or action shooter with cinematics. A lot of these big budget games feel the same.

the ign review of I Am Alive kinda threw me off but if y'all say it's hot shyt I'll give it a try. Fez was cool and would've been an impulse buy if I had points on my account. Skullgirls is dope but I don't recommend it to casual fighting game heads

I live in the United States
i see what youre saying and i used to be a guy that gave everything a chance but there are currently so many great games that i havent played yet and currently playing, that adding one to the list that may or may not be worth my time really aint in my plans.

Bruh, trust me. You probably will LOVE this game.
I haven't bought it yet because I have the same problem you do of not having time/too many games to play.
But I did test out the demo, and I came away thinking I HAD to get this game one of these days.
Try the demo.. you'll probably buy it if you have Mspts just laying around.

TORONTO!
Been slacking on that I Am Alive for the longest. I'll dl it tonite though...maybe :jawalrus:

They finally talking about patching Skullgirls. Haven't played it in months only because some of the changes in the new patch is to the combo system and possibly even the game speed. That and preparing (and now playing) Virtual Fighter 5 Final Showdown which is downloadable only. shyt is deep and might seem daunting to some, but there are a few beginner characters and a tutorial that can help you ease into the game mechanics

Waiting on Summer of Arcade and there better not be any stinkers
