“greatest player of all time”went 66-16 then 62-20 with “weak” rosters but didn’t have enough apparently when he got sonned as a 1 seed in the playoffs. ( he flat out quit in the ‘10 2nd round 5-16 with a fake elbow injury him game 5) :dead:

It was all good when nikkas was dancing on the sidelines mid game

Bu but but the bulls won 55 without Jordan, and lost the earliest since ‘88 without him meanwhile the cavs won 60 + WITH lebron and still flopped in the 2nd round

Kobe had a PG that averaged 14/4, a wing that averaged 15/10/5, and another wing that averaged 16/6.

Surely, the best player in basketball (in his prime) should at least make the playoffs with that kind of supporting cast... Especially since folks are claiming a pre-prime Lebron should have won a championship because "Mo Williams averaged 17 PPG" :mjlol:
Kobe was in the western conference The east wont as deep as the western conference let’s not do this.

Scottie was highly drafted but he didn’t come into the league killing it. He played beside MJ and wasn’t even the rookie of the year his rookie year. He only averaged 7 points a game on 20 minutes.

He averaged 8 points on 7 shots at 47% from the field.

He started 6 out of 10 games in the playoffs and averaged 10 points on 48% shooting.

You know why Scottie didn’t average more points? Because Jordan was as taking 24 shots a game.

So deep he couldn't make the playoffs? Not win a championship, make the playoffs. The 8th seeded Grizzlies in the West won three more games than the 8th seed in the East.
MJ turned Scottie Pippen into who he was in practice. The coaching staff had to tell Mike he had to ease up on Scottie he was going to kill his confidence. He didn’t make the allstar team until his 4th year in the league. MJ made him better. Lebron still played with Moe Williams, Carlos Boozer, Big Z. MJ made Pippen into an all star caliber player.
:mjlol: Jordan's Bulls were trash before Pippen was drafted which is they were even able to get him in the first place-- they had seven lottery picks in MJ’s first five seasons. Meanwhile, LeBron dragged a mediocre Cavs roster to relevance so fast they only ended up with one lottery pick… which got wasted on a cracker named Luke Jackson.

Comparing Boozer (who left after Bron's rookie season), washed big Z, and Mo fukking Williams to Scottie Pippen shows how retarded Jordan stans are. Pippen in his lone full season without Jordan averaged 22/9/6, was an MVP candidate, and led the Bulls to 55 wins-- more success than Jordan EVER had without Pippen.

Scottie always been an efficient player his entire career. MJ pushed and expected more of his teammates. Lebron really didn’t

The eastern conference was at its peak in the 1980s you can’t compare the 80s east to the 2000s East. All teams go through a rebuilding phase, yes it’s true the Bulls got better when the drafted Scottie and Horace Grant traded for Cartwright.

I can tell you’ve never played organized ball with that response. Everything revolves around “stats” with y’all. fukk team chemistry, totally different play style, new coach & pieces huh.. carry on bro.

Hey dummy, I'm following the logic of this very thread. You have cats arguing that the Cavs should have won a championship because Mo Williams averaged 17 PPG.

Mention that Kobe missed the playoffs in his prime with several players averaging similar stats and of course:

It’s not the same conference 6 teams in the west won 50 or more games that year compared to only 2 teams from the Eastern conference. Also you can’t compare 18ppg to the 13ppg Caron Butler scored. :camby:

Then why did he only come out of the East once during his first stint with the Cavs? And Western Conference teams had more difficult regular season schedules. Cavs could beat up on several bad East teams and be less dinged up (injuries) or tired once they faced Western Conference teams.
None of that matters. If you’re a top 5 defense even with a bad offense you can pencil in 50 wins regardless of conference.

Tired once they faced the Western Conference teams is crazy. No, those teams simply couldn’t fukk with the Cavs we’re talking about 26-4 record.

Butler averaged 16 and 6, the Lakers would have missed the playoffs in either conference and had a 13-18 record against the East :unimpressed:

Plus, we're talking about making the playoffs here not winning a championship. If Lebron is expected to win the championship with Mo Williams than Kobe can make the playoffs with Lamar Odom and Caron Butler.

U wouldn’t play with your friends and move to Miami if you were 25? :mjlol:

He had every right to do what he did as a free agent. Miami was a sorry ass team in the years leading up to The Decision and he had no history with them. Nobody would have gave a shyt had he not made an event out of it.
Oh, he just went to Miami to play with his friends at a young age?

My bad, I don't know what I was thinking.
