I can’t say that because Michael Jordan went through the growing pains in the 80s to finally get over the Pistons. He dedicated himself to getting better, lifting weights doing whatever needed to be done. They swept that Pistons team.
Lebron was on a similar path going through the growing pains. He took that team to the finals against the Spurs and lost. To Lebron defense he needed at least one more piece around him. I dont think he should’ve left the Cavs for Miami.
The Cavs were good prior to him leaving they just needed one more piece. That piece not an aging Shaq either. The front office deserve blame for him leaving the first time. Lebron was great and he made the people around him better. He just left instead of getting that other piece he needed.
They were never getting that piece. Front office fukked up time and again and no stars wanted to go to Cleveland. Jordan was fortunate that Seattle traded a lottery pick that turned out to be an all-time great wingman.
