ARE U RETARDED? THAT IS NOT HOW DEFENSE WORKS LMFAOOO
Actual defense is not how defense works :mjlol:
SOME OF THE BEST DEFENDERS IN NBA HISTORY PUT UP ZERO DEFENSIVE STATS BECAUSE THEY DID THEIR JOB BY STAYING IN FRONT OF THEIR OPPONENT WITH LOCK DOWN D,
This is not Anderson Varejuo. Dude was a big. He didn’t stay in front of anyone outside the paint. He was supposed to be a rim defender, which absolutely would show up in stats.
WHERE AS A LOT OF TIMES ITS THE WEAKER DEFENDERS WHO PICK UP DEFENSIVE STATS DUE TO THEIR WILLINGNESS TO GAMBLE ON THE WEAKSIDE AND IN THE PASSING LANES ALA JAMES HARDEN

STEPH CURRY LED THE LEAGUE IN STEALS.. DO U THINK HES A BETTER DEFENDER THAN BRUCE BOWEN?

:dead:

LIKE I SAID, BASKETBALL CLEARLY NOT YOUR SPORT.. STICK TO BASEBALL
Again let’s talk reality about Varejou.

In the 2009 and 2010 playoffs who did he “lock down”?

Which other bigs on the floor did he dominate?

He don’t got the stats.

He don’t got some signature moments or plays in the playoffs.

He don’t got some clear case where he defensively dominated(or even bothered) another big in the playoffs.

So please tell me. Where does your Anderson Varejou stannary come from? Why are you such a fan of his game?? :mjlol:

THERE ARE TWO KIND OF DEFENSIVE BIGS.. RIM PROTECTORS (RUDY GOBERT) AND MAN DEFENDERS (BAM ADEBAYO)

THE LATTER GENERALLY DO NOT PICK UP A LOT OF BLOCKS BUT ARE STILL REGARDED AS EXCELLENT DEFENDERS

VAREJAO WAS A MAN DEFENDER ... U CLEARLY DONT KNOW SHIIT ABOUT BASKETBALL OUTSIDE OF STATS

SO ILL ASK AGAIN.... DO U THINK BRUCE BOWEN WAS A POOR DEFENDER? DO U THINK STEPH CURRY IS A STRONG DEFENDER?

CLEARLY U OUT YOUR ELEMENT HERE

That guy averaged 17 points 9 rebounds and A block and a half for his career.

How fukkin dare you mention him in the same breath as Anderson Varejou :stopitslime:

AND NEVER MADE AN ALL-DEFENSE TEAM

WHICH VAREJAO DID... MEANING HE WAS A TOP 10 DEFENDER IN THE LEAGUE

AND LAST TIME I CHECKED, DEFENSE WAS 50% OF THE GAME...

BUT DONT GET IT TWISTED.. IM NOT SAYING THEY ON THE SAME LEVEL. JUST PROVING THAT VAREJAO WAS FAR FROM A SCRUB.

Dude got outplayed by Big baby davis in the playoffs.

You can argue over if you wanna call that a “scrub” or not.

But again, he wasn’t starting on any other contending team that year

LOL FIRST 2 ROUNDS 2009 HE LOCKED UP HORFORD AND RASHEED

THEY WERE EVEN CALLING HIM A POTENTIAL ALL-STAR & DPOY THE FOLLOWING SEASON

AND CAVS WERE SO DEEP THAT HE WAS ACTUALLY COMIN OFF THE BENCH!

you post that like it means something. Verajo played 15 years and was an excellent defender. Z was an all star before Bron even arrived and Mo became an All star during that era.

Mo Williams dropped 17ppg for MIL in back to back years before he joined Cleveland and put up those same 17ppg with Bron but I bet in your head you think Bron upgraded Mo completely and turned him from scrub to All Star in an instant.

Not even saying shyt :mjlol:
I always said Lebron had the core in those years. He just didn’t have the will to win. You give young MJ that team he a dog.

lol spent 30 posts trying to prop up a role player like he's a star and then find out he wasn't even a starter. Good spin.

Moe Williams and Verajao were All Stars (or DPOY lol) the exact same way that BJ Armstrong was an All Star
No BJ was an all star the year MJ retired and went and played baseball. That Bulls team had something to prove that year. Everyone was calling them the Jordanaires. It’s not the same as Moe Williams. Moe Williams made the allstar team in the 2008-2009 season.

The 2008-2009 Moe Williams scored 17 points 4 assists and 3 rebounds and 1 steal a game. Furthermore the Cavs finished number 1 in the regular season 66-16. Lebron had more than enough help around him to win. The Cavs just fell short to the Magic who was a smarter team and Dwight Howard was a beast that series.
