Old.narrative: Black people were enslaved and brought to America
New.narative: White people kidnapped black peoples and sold them into slavery, in a land so far from their home and on which they stuck out too easily thereby creating a condition of dependency and never ending dread.

Old.narative: white people with their superior intellect, civilized black people.
New.narrative: white people felt threaten by the ingenuity of black race they forbid them from learning to read.
New.narrative: white people were so terrified of black intellect they barred them from registering patents. So yes, most of the labor saving devices that were developed/invented during and immediately after slavery were stolen from blacks.

You see where this is going, right?
