This is what I think about this episode:

So I must say that outside CM Punk... Raw sucked so I expect tonight's Impact to be better by default. With that being said since Punk quoted Omar Little on monday I expect someone like Bully Ray to quote "All In The Game Yo!" or Robert Roooo to quote "SHHHHEEEIIIIIIITTTT!" so something like that. Highlights of crazy shyt involving ODB and EY, Hogan getting crunk on Kaz and Daniels, the final two matches in the Bound For Glory Series prelims, Joseph Park becoming a bounty hunter, and Austin Aries being seriously injured AGAIN by the Aces and Eights... let's go! I like this highlight video package for the BFG Series, they are making this tournament seem important, they are making matches count, they are making the heavyweight championship feel like the most valuable thing on Earth... something WWE has failed to do in years.

Christie Hemme looking fine as a strawberry sundae announcing the first of last BFG Series matches between Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe: Jeff must win or he gets eliminated meanwhile if Joe wins this match he earns the #1 spot and gets to pick his opponent at No Surrender. The Impact Zone crowd is alive and well for this match, it has a big time feel as it should. James Storm watching backstage, with Robert Roode no longer champion I have no idea how the Bound For Glory main event will be. Damn Hardy's reckless ass damn near crushed Joe on the metal guardrail which says alot if you can crush Joe's big ass. Jeff hits his Whisper In The Wind on Joe's arm injured by Magnus weeks ago. What the hell, Hardy has Joe in a armscissors headlock and the injured arm of Joe can't take anymore... damn Joe taps out. Jeff wins with the surprising 10 point victory staying alive in the tournament.

Highlights of last week's brawl with Aries getting knocked out with a slapjack by an unindentified person. Backstage Aries pissed off yelling at Hoegan, apparently the guy that knocked out Aries last week was an employee of TNA and double agent of the Aces and Eights. Apparently Hoegan got records of the secret man and will have Austin beat some information out of him. On stage Christe tries to interview Joe but Magnus comes out still pissed at Joe beating him weeks ago. Magnus blames Joe for ending the incredible run of the tag team they were in... OH SNAP Magnus attacks Joe from behind, shyts crazy. Backstage in Hoegan's office... OH SNAP CHAVO's BACK... Hoegan trying to pick who's gonna fight Kaz and Daniels. Seriously why does Hoegan chooses his #1 contenders in such a long drawn out manner... just pick someone damn it! Now AJ Styles comes in the meeting wanting a shot at Kaz and Daniels. Damn Hoegan just eliminates AJ cause he don't have a partner. In Madam Brooke Hoegan's office she talks to Tara and makes her the #1 contender for No Surrender. Gail Kim Ishii ain't having that shyt and makes Gail vs Tara tonight. I still haven't watch Gail's wedding special that was shown on tv I have to youtube it in the future.

I see ECW Tiffany in the ring so that mean's a knockout match between Gail Kim vs Tara happens now. SMH at Mike Tenay being a perv and Taz of all people trying to correct him on it. Top Notch camerawork as always from the TNA cameramen. Wait... did I just hear Taz and Tenay say Dave Batista's name on TNA television? Tara counters Gail from the top rope into a Widow's Peak for the win and momentum for the title match at the ppv... unlike the WWE Diva's #1 contender losing before her title match. Highlights of the Saga of Joey Ryan, looking back it wasn't just Taz that was hating on him from the start. Since then Al Snow has been the victim of Joey Ryan's wrath on multiple occasions. An angry Al Snow is in the ring calls out Joey Ryan knowing that he's there since TNA security is a joke. Oh Snap here comes Joey through the crowd with Jimmy Hart megaphone in hand. So aparently Al Snow is giving Joey Ryan another shot at Gut Check for a TNA contract... but the stipulation is that he can only get the contract by winning the match only no tweet votes no judges. Joey accepts and apparetnly Al Snow will be his opponent (which we all knew this would happen) Damn, Al pimp slapped Ryan and since Joey Ryan technically don't have a TNA contract yet he is screaming lawsuit... seriously what's up with all these lawsuits in wrestling lately?

Backstage Joseph Park runs into Bully Ray surprisingly on the same page talking about the Aces and Eights but Joseph tells Bully nothing... LIKE A BAUCE! In another backstage room Austin Aries is with the mysterious guy who knocked Aries out with a slapjack last week. Once again in Hoegan's office he is STILL deciding who should fight Kaz and Daniels.... GODDAMN JUST PICK SOMEONE HOEGAN! Hoegan just eliminates Gunner and TSC's Kid Kash... bullshyt! So according to the BFG Series Leaderboard, James Storm is #1 and will pick his opponent at No Surrender. Goddamn I wanna lick Chistie's thighs as she announces the last regular BFG Series match between Bully Ray vs Rob Van Dam, the loser will get eliminated. Once again the Impact Zone crowd is extra hyped for this because they know wins and loses matter. Is the crowd screaming "Devon's Better?" I may be wrong. Oh shyt Earl Hebner getting crunk on Bully, probably still pissed he still not allowed to be up and close with the knockouts anymore... I wonder if Madison gave him the blowjob he deserved? RVD on the top rope going for the 5 Star Frog Splash but he's wasting time tauting... OH shyt A BULLY CUTTER COUNTER! Bully wins eliminating Rob Van Dam.

So the BFG Series Final Four is: James Storm, Samoa Joe, Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy. Backstage in a hidden room Austin Aries still grillin' the Aces and Eights goon and he's not saying shyt. As Aries uses pliers on the goon Hoegan comes in to join in the intergation. Hoegan gets a call with the Aces and Eights V.P., Aces and Eights want the mystery man back but Hoegan wants the man that broke Aries's arm for a match at No Surrender... Hoegan still needs to bring back the barking and growling when talking to Aces and Eights members, just saying. Back in the ring the BFG Series #1 ranked James Storm who was on top of the board for the majority of this tournament comes out. James calls out Bully, Hardy and Joe to the stage for a decision of the matches can be made. James Storm picks... Bully Ray as his opponent at No Surrender leaving Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe as the other match. Storm is still salty from Bully accusing him of being the Aces and Eights leader and still salty about Bully stoping him from winning the BFG Series last year. The No Surrender ppv card is shaping up nicely.

Backstage Christie tries to interview Rob Van Dam but once again Magnus interferes and calls RVD flabby and sick but RVD don't want to hear the truth so a brawl insues... here comes D'lo to break up the fight. I assume this will become another match for the No Surrender ppv this sunday. Now it's time for Kazarian and Appletini Daniels to defend their belts, backstage Ho Kogan makes his final decision... Hernandez and Chavo gets the title shot. Chavo and Hernandez is no L.A.X. but the team is decent. Wow this goes through a commercial break, TNA is really trying to make Chavo a big deal. Everytime Hernandez does The Pounce it makes me miss TNA original Monty Brown. Daniels slides one of the tag belts in the ring as destraction for the ref and Daniels uses the other title belt to hit Hernendez as Kaz and Daniels retain the belts. Boss Hoegan comes out congratulating Kaz and Daniels and books for No Surrender Kaz and Daniels to face AJ Styles and Kurt Angle for the titles... the men Kaz and Daniels won the titles from months ago.

So The Greatest Man That Ever Lived drags down the mysterious goon from Aces and Eights to the ring for the hostage exchange. Aries yelling "railroaded from behind" gets a pop, only in 2012. Nobody is comming out so Aries goes back to torture the silent goon... apparently the goon can speak and is willing to talk. Oh snap the Aces and Eights guy that broke Aries' arm shows up and yanks the mysterious goon out the ring... OH shyt he hits the silent goon upside the head with a big ass hammer Tom and Jerry style... that nikka dead. Seriously they just commited live murder on tv, far from PG. Now a brawl with Aries and Armbreaker (I don't know what else to call him) is happening in the ring. Hopefully this sunday at No Surrender reveals more answers as the road to Bound For Glory heats up.

dawg,...nuffin is wrong with rvd, stop it!
one of the better i am familiar with you tv works in a while tonight with bully ray.
the bully ray finally solves the puzzle clean over rvd was the an inring highlighr.
rvd and bully showed how to really have a slow down the high flyer match paced exchange tonight.

you never get that on the other station.
unless it is punk/bryan,..when wwe's whole style has tried.
plus failed to succeed and achieve for close to a decade now.
what bully and rvd did tonight inring.
both were money,..tonight...

Bully Ray has signed a new deal with TNA, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The deal was signed about 3-4 days ago and I believe it is a two year deal. Ray will continue to agent for the promotion as well as wrestle. In my mind, this was a good signing for TNA as it was obvious Ray has evolved into the best heel in the company and it's not a far stretch to say he's worked himself into a position where he could conceivably be the TNA champion one day. Had he left for WWE or somewhere else, it would have been a huge loss to the company.

The signing means that for the first time since 1996, Ray and Devon are no longer working for the same wrestling promotion. There was a lot of talk at TV this week backstage that the company "didn't do right by Devon" as he got himself into better shape and had done everything that was asked of him, including working hard with younger talents and trying to help Garett Bischoff get over. There were those in the company shocked TNA didn't re-sign him as he was one of the most well liked people in the locker room and was often good cop to Bully's bad cop.

Ray and Devon will still be working together, obviously as their Team 3D Wrestling Academy in Florida remains open.

TNA Impact on Thursday, September 6 scored a 0.96 rating, down one-tenth of a rating from a 1.07 rating last week. it was the lowest rating since a 0.90 rating on August 9.

Impact averaged 1.22 million viewers, down 200,000 viewers from an average of 1.42 million viewers. It was the fewest viewers since the same Aug. 9 episode.

On cable TV Thursday night, Impact ranked a distant #46, #35 among males 18-34, which was one of the lowest ranks of the year, and #21 among males 18-49.

Impact registered year-lows among key males and teen males dropped off the cable rankings, not registering a rating.

Cable competition included the live VMAs on MTV, which appeared to draw away younger viewers, college football on ESPN drawing away the key male demographic, and Democratic National Convention coverage drawing away the general audience. What was left was TNA's core, hardcore, weekly base of one million viewers.

Tough competition this week......2.84, 0.96?

wrestling is dying brehs :to:
