This is what I think about this episode:
Ok before I start I wanna give my opinion of the result of the BFG Series... how the hell did Jeff Hardy win? I'm not mad but it was from out of nowhere. They have been buulding up the "James Storm Redemption Story" since Lockdown so we all were so sure that Storm was going to face Roode at Bound For Glory which ironically that match will probably still happen but not for the heavyweight championship like we all originally thought. Although looking back I guess Hardy was also working on his "redemption story" as well in the background since coming back after that absense he took after his infamous "Victory Road: Sting Vs Hardy" debacle... we all remember that match. Jeff Hardy vs Austin Aries for the TNA Heavyweight Championship is a surprise match-up, but not terrible. This is what I call a swerve... something surprising that happens but its not terrible, unlike the Vince Russo swerves we all came to be used to. I'll give TNA credit they are keeping us guessing which is something hard to do in this internet dirtsheet era of wrestling we live in now.
Highlights of a police filled No Surrender with the road to Bound For Glory continues. The Greatest Man That Ever Lived comes out with the Impact Zone goign crazy once again hyping up the fact that the TNA Heavyweight Championship is the most important thing in the world like a great champion knows how to do. Aries calls out the #1 condender and winner of the BFG Series Jeff Hardy out and his facepaint looks like a japanesee kabuke warrior. Aries hyping up his future opponent as a incredible threat like a good wrestler does but letting him know his dreams are not gonna happen. Uh oh Bully Ray comes out like a steamtrain pissed the hell off. Bully blames himself for losing the BFG Series for showing compassion for ONE second and it cost him. Aries goating a match between Hardy vs Bully tonight... Bully kinda don't want to do it but has no choice.
I give props to TNA for shouting out and giving well wishes to Jerry Lawler, the entire wrestling community (except New Jack) is showing Jerry love. Sweet honey Christie Hemme is announcing the X-Division Championship rematch between uncrown champion Sonjay Dutt vs swagged out champion Zema Ion. Watching Sonjay lately makes me wonder how in the hell has he never won the X-Division Title back when he was in TNA in the past all dem years. Sanjay putting on a clinic but that's a nice counter into a Rings of Saturn but Sonjay gets out of it. OH shyt MOONSAULT FOOTSTOMP TO PERFECTION, luckily Zema was by the ropes. Damn Zema gets the win with a roll-up. Now Zema showing Alberto Del Rio how to put on a cross armbreaker properly. Backstage Kaz and Daniels drinking appletinis wearing their Hulk Hogan colors with Boss Hoegan comming in the room booking singles matches: Daniels will fight either Chavo or Hernandez while Kaz will fight Styles or Angle... whoever gets the pin in their match their team gets a title shot but if both Kaz and Daniels win no title shots are given out... a hell of a gamble.
Backstage Styles wants to cripple Kaz but Angle is showing doubts but he's giving AJ the match. Wes Brisco walk up and talks to Angle knowing that secretely he's am Aces and Eights member. Highlights of No Surrender with James Storm getting screwed out of the Bound For Glory title shot by Robet Roode, the battle between Beer vs Money must continue. Robert Roode comes out wearing his finest BAUCE suit with his epic Final Fantasy boss theme playing. Roode explains that since we last saw him he was at home watching James Storm being ranked #1 in the BFG Series for most of the tournament and wanted to throw Storm's title shot into the bushes... and he did. James Storm comes down to the ring and a brawl starts... and Storm is beating the holy hell out of Roode. Storm drags this brawl backstage as we go to a commercial.
Highlights of AJ Styles breaking Stings undefeated streak at Bound For Glory, that lead to him getting accused of getting a crackhead pregnant. Sweet Jesus that pan-up of Christie hemme, it's time for AJ Styles vs Kazarian to see if Angle and Angle gets a tag title rematch. Is Kaz growing out his heel beard? His five o'clock shadow makes him look like a bald headed Max Payne. Holy shyt, Styles damn near killed Kaz with that elevanted ddt on the ring apron to the floor. PELE Kick... Styles Clash... AJ gets the win and him and Angle gets their Tag Title rematch. Backstage in Boss Hogan's office Hogan telling daughter Brooke not to have her helpless ass by herself but Joseph Park comes in with information about Aces and Eights. Joseph claims that key evidence will comes to the Impact Zone next week to reveal something big. Hogan goes to ring to call out the Aces while leaving Joseph's creepy ass to bodyguard Brooke... Kay-fab.
Another part backstage Bully confronting Hardy daring him to put his Bound For Glory title shot on the line... and like a foolish babyface Jeff agrees to the terms. Bully is freaked out by Hardy's face paint as am I. Highlights of No Surrender with Austin Aries putting over his new "God of War" catchphrase which will be a t-shirt soon. Boss Hogan goes to the ring getting a Bret Hart-like recpetion from the Impact Zone audience. Hoegan putting over Jeff Hardy as the winner of the BFG Series and a weird motherfukker at the same time, and also makes the Bully Ray vs Jeff Hardy for the BFG Main Event official for later tonight. Hoegan now talks about him calling the cops at No Surrender... something TNA should have done in the first place. Aces and Eights on the Dixietron telling Hoegan can't trust the people that's in the building, since Aces and Eights ALWAYS wear masks they can literally walk by Hoegan and TNA staff WITHOUT their masks undetected... clever girl.
Backstage Hernandez and Chavo trying to decide who gets to battle Daniels for their tag title shot, apparently Chavo is gonna get the match. The traditional pan-up of Christie means it's time for Daniels vs Chavo, damn Daniels is steal John Morrison's gimmick of wearing his tag title belt on his crotch. Chavo is still over as hell, just goes to show you that the legend of the Guerrero Family will live forever. Daniels trying to use the tag title belt for the cheap win but Chavo counters it into a Three Amigos transistion into a Frog Splash for the win... so apparently Hernandez and Chavo are getting tag title shots as well. I'm assuming this is going to end up being a Three Way Dance for the TNA Tag Titles at Bound For Glory, I have no problems with that match. Evan Markouplous is the next person for the GutCheck chance for a contract next week, hopefully he will be better than Kris Lewie... please be better than Kris Lewie.
Backstage James Storm pissed off wanting more of Roode and saying that he's gonna call out Roode next week at Open Fight Night. Gail Kim remembering when she became the first Knockouts Champion at Bound For Glory years ago back when the Knockouts title was a big deal. MILF Tara comes out to the ring and calls out Miss Tessmacher to congradulate her. Good Lawd Tessmacher in Sports Illustrated looking fine as hell. Tara gives props of Tessmacher for her win making her a proud teacher... and she says she's her boo (told yall they were lesbian lovers). Tara puts the title on Tessmacher... I smell a swerve coming soon. On Snap Tara clotheslines Tessmacher and hit her with the Widow's Peak... told yall I smelled a swerve. Tara wants that belt even it means to cripple her "boo". Highlights of Jeff Hardy on the ppv winning "Against All Odds"... wait thats the wrong ppv name, ok highlights of Hardy showing "No Surrender" leading his victory.
In Hoegan's office Dixie Carter, Al Snow, D'Lo Brown, Bruce Prichard, Brooke Hogan, and Hulk Hoegan having a meeting about how to deal with the Aces and Eights. Oh snap Hogan has a thug brother in Oakland, thug life brother. Clearly all of the TNA higher authority is blantly shooked, and now they are accusing each other of being Aces and Eights members. So what I get from this segment is that as usual TNA is clueless. Now it's time for the main event to ONCE AGAIN determine who's gonna fight Austin Aries for the the TNA HEavyweight Championship at Bound For Glory between Bully Ray vs Jeff Hardy. This match is going back and forth, I think the TSC's choice is Bully Ray, he's definitely my pick. Jeff goes for a Swanton Bomb but Bully Stops him and goes for a top rope superplex and hits it. Twist of Stunner.... Twist of Fate... SWANTON BOMB... Hardy Wins! Jeff retains his position in the Bound For Glory main event meanwhile his brother Matt is gonna be on some internet ROH ppv... who's really the better Hardy brother? See yall next week.
