Not sure how widespread it was, but one of our readers, Jeff Burns, noted that he went to his local movie theatre to watch Bound for Glory, and despite the PPV being advertised it ended up not playing. He was told that management had decided to pull the offering based on a lack of perceived interest going in, and "were basically shocked when they had 15 to 20 people there looking to see the show." He said they gave everyone asking to see the PPV free passes to movies or other PPV events in the future.
