Live From NY and the Pete Rock track are dope, just about everything else is a lazy RZA imitation. Rae was on FIRE in 97 and 98, if he had dropped a legit album with RZA after Forever it would have been a classic.
I actually had that song stuck in my head a few days agoGet rich to this !!
After knowing what we know about Rae is that he's cheap when it comes to production. That's what happens when you get someone no one knows about to produce half your album. Like, you would think Rae seeing how Nas blew up when he got with the trackmasters that he'd go the same route and get proven known producers on his sophomore album. shyt, the sophomore album is more crucial than the debut.
You know what's funny? A lot of the Immobilarity producers were on the Wu-Syndicate album which still holds up very well to this day. That's what happens when you get someone no one knows about to produce half your album. You're right."A lot"?
DJ Devastator, who produced the majority of the Wu Syndicate album, produced 1 song, Real Life, on Immobilarity. That's the only production link between the two albums.
Broke my heart hearing this shyt
You're right.
I thought they shared more than one producer but this explains why the Syndicate album sounds better![]()
