Brazilians run heavy up there too.
Im in mass and i see it all around me. Boston will probably have a black mayor within 10 years. If black folks really united they could could swing the votes in this city. Mass is a good place to be on many levels.

To the topic: this isn't news to anyone. Asians (East and South), Africans, and newer South Americans are all benefiting from the post 9/11 immigration laws that favor the rich and middle class of emerging economies. In Houston, the new condos they are building on San Felipe and Post Oak are catered to the Chinese and Brazilian millionaire immigrants. Ultimately this has its plus and minuses. the minuses is that city tax breaks are being used for millionaires that might only be in Houston 3-4 months of the year and those millionaires might be getting additional tax breaks. While working class immigrants and even undocumented immigrants might be paying the same or more taxes.
I'm not sure if it is fair, it would depend on who you are asking.
