I don't know if everyone is seeing it, but I think the offense is simply switching players who were on the ball to off the ball and vice versa
Last year - Tatum and Brown on the ball, White and Pritchard off the ball
This year - White and Pritchard on the ball, Tatum and Brown off the ball
Then you add Brogdon for another player on the ball, with Smart on the ball as well
Doing that really allowed Tatum and Brown to have such easy looks, open lanes, and so much spacing to operate 1 on 1. Teams can't just double team Tatum every time down the court because now him and Brown are either coming off screens or slashing. That subtle change by Joe Mazzulla has been the difference IMO. shyt is beautiful to watch

Plus the team is lights out from 3. Tatum and Brown get so much attention that the snipers are always open and when they close on the 3 point shooters Tatum and Brown can do the dirty work in the paint. Can’t wait till Timelord comes back to get 3-4 lobs per game.

Probably the most offensively balanced game of the season
Started the game off driving into the paint relentlessly
Then shot the shyt out of the 3, shooting like 55% I believe
Then capped it off with great mid range shots and offensive rebounds
Scary
