Is there proof that you're black? I find it hard to believe that a self respecting black person would name them self the nig. (i sure as he'll wouldn't)

Unless you're Nigerian or from Niger...

I have zero respect for myself bruh. None at all. I fought in OIF/OEF and still managed to get my dental accreditation by the time I turned 30. I have no respect for myself becuz of a screen name I came up with when I was 21 years old.

Even though he had some fixed fights, I respect him for his promo game and his influence on pro wrestling and hip-hop:salute:

Ali was crucified then but the difference is he had the unwavering support of the black community. If say a Lebron got up and talked like that today, the very first people to shyt on and shame him would be other black people. These days black women(and some black men) would agree with the white women that he shut down. There is no support for black athletes who want to stand up and speak truth to power because we've sold out as a community.
He had the majority, but he had detractors as well. Malcolm said in his book that the people he had to argue with and debate the most were his own. The NOI weren't universally loved or accepted by black folks, there were plenty who weren't on the wave and didn't care for Ali.

With that said, Ali was still seen as someone with a voice who said things on a public platform that needed to be said. His charisma was difficult to not get behind, NOI or not.

Mahmoud Abdul Rauf got blackballed by the NBA doing the same thing and nobody stood up for him. Today's age is not about black or white it's about green. That's all players stand for and the ones that do speak their mind get labeled problem players, distractions or just plain thugs. The media is allowed to mold a players image and the players just step and fetch just to maximize thier earning potential.
He was undoubtedly black balled..............

However, their skill levels for their respective sports don't compare in the slightest. Ali, take away his controversial mouthpiece, would still be one of the greatest of all times, no questions asked.

The only comparison would be if Jordan were to convert in the 90's, change his name, and start opening up on race and America

Too bad he was a stooge for the NoI during that era. Leaving them was probably the best decision of his life.

The media would say he's acting like an a$$hole because he doesn't respect feminism and the British people's plight. Skip and Steven A going at it would be must watch TV, then you'd have whatever chick they have nowadays on that joke of a show like "hey, what about women though? :usure:"
