Overreaction?? How is this difficult for his defenders to grasp?? No one in the league's history has hit a player with a helmet in a live game. The dude shouldn't ever be allowed to play on an NFL field again. At minimum he should be suspended indefinitely and have to fight his way back in well into next season if not 2021-22.
you do know there are rules and consequences already in the NFL rulebook for this specific type of thing (using a helmet as a weapon/taking off helmet) and none of which includes suspended indefinitely. you racist cacs are annoying.
that bytch ass cac QB throw stones then go into victim mode when he gets bodied. typical cac shyt

The level of stupidity it takes to say this and not realize your hypocrisy just shows that you're too stupid to even engage with any further beyond letting you know how stupid you are.

And I'd be advocating for the same punishment for anyone who hit another player with a helmet. Once again, common sense and objectivity. Idiot. And you do know that Josh Gordon has been suspended indefinitely now multiple times for smoking weed right, and that's in the rule book, so the rule book is fukking stupid and sometimes sound judgment and common sense need to trump the idiotic rule book.

Just to reiterate: Josh Gordon ended up missing 3 seasons following his indefinite suspension in 2014, which is perfectly fine by the NFL's standards, and you're advocating following that same rule book. Man you must be a racist cac for supporting the indefinite suspension of Josh Gordon for smoking weed.

Help me out...who's excusing Mason actions?

I see the black/white thing all over Twitter which is typical.

I saw on ESPN today damn near every black analyst call for Myles head and most white ones too but hell the one analyst who stuck up for Myles was a white guy: Max Kellerman.

Max always defends black nikkas though.

But the point is Mason is getting a pass

Pure speculation Newton has never been hit in the head with a helmet by a white edge rusher so I don’t see your point, how do you know Watt wouldn’t be suspended

why are you insisting on making it a race issue when the issue is player A hit player B in his exposed head with a helmet

be retarded brehs
People mention race whether its true or not because usually when its two men fighting when do others say the person went to far when another man started the fight? That's why some people are thinking race maybe a factor. In real life if a dude start something with someone else and he gets smacked with an object most will say welp dude shouldn't started and he wouldn't got hit with the weapon. Not like Garrett just hit dude for no reason. If that was the case then those kicking this Garrett went to far narrative would make sense. You can't control how someone else reacts to your aggressiveness

Coli-militancy running amok again.

You cant wrangle off someones helmet by the facemask then strike him over the head with it.

No way you watch football if you believe that.

Do black people get harsher sentences in the legal system in society in general?

Is it so big a logical leap given what we know about race and history in this country to think that had cam newton been the q.v. punishment would have been different?

Calling a black man a militant is racist gaslighting

Nothing that has happened in league history leads you to believe Cam would get suspended in this imaginary scenario. :dead:

Again, do you watch football? Scuffles happen all the time without suspension. Cam was part of one with the Saints a few years ago and nothing came of it. A brawl happened during Ravens-Miami a few years ago when Flacco got concussed on a slide. Helmets were ripped off, a linemen drove a forearm to a downed player, coaches on the field, etc and nothing came from it. The helmet strike last night was unprecedented and you knew immediately the league was gonna hammer Garrett. Had there been no helmet strike, we'd just be looking at fines and MAYBE a one game suspension.

I get how the MAGA crowd co-opting the issue turned ridiculous, but cmon... Cam suspended? :mjlol:

Exactly right.

White aggression is always excused by white people when the target of that aggression is black. So the fact Mason Rudolph started the fight then instigated it further by running up on Myles Garrett doesn't matter to white people. They don't view those actions as threatening because Rudolph is white. Let a black man do those same exact actions toward a white man and they will give the white man license to use any weapon to defend himself. This is where all those Stand Your Ground laws would come into effect. When you're black, ain't no such thing as a Stand Your Ground law against a white man. We're supposed to bow to white aggression. And any attempt at defending ourselves will be seen as the first act of aggression.
