MYSELF
I remember years ago someone showing me a black people from Rhode Island having weird accent that sounded European also.

The Baltimore accent sounds heavily colonized to me lol.

But I think the most remarkable thing about their accent is that no other city around them sounds like them despite how close east coast cities are to eachother. Nobody from DC, Philly, Delaware, Jersey or NYC have that sound overall.

:hhh:Colonized huh?

Got love for my Bmore peeps.

Even though they talk funny.

One thing I will say is people are genuine and will ride or die compared to any other region of the country.

I'm from DC/MD and i completely agree...Bmore folks got some of the best sense of humor and naturally easy going people...IDK what happened to the DMV but it has become damn near insufferable at times. seems like erry one out here takes themselves to seriously.....

Calm down, most people in Baltimore have a neutral accent.

I notice that too, most just have the typical mid atlantic accent the storeotypical accent/verbage/slang only comes out in spots.....It also depends a lot where your parents or upbringing is from...
