Lyrics In Rapper’s Song Titled “Hood Pharmacy”, Lead to Major Drug Bust In Lowndes County, Alabama

A drug investigation in Lowndes County has led to the arrest of several individuals and the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics in Columbus. The Lowndes County Narcotics STING Unit dismantled an alleged drug trafficking operation run by 26-year-old Art T. Davis, also known as “Hank,” a local rapper whose lyrics referenced illegal activity on Maple Street.
The investigation began after confidential informants tipped off agents that Davis was selling methamphetamine, marijuana, fentanyl, and other controlled substances in the area. Authorities confirmed Davis was operating out of a home located at 145 Maple Street, using both the home and social media accounts to facilitate drug sales.

The rapper’s song “Hood Pharmacy,” which includes the lyric “I’m trapping on Maple Street,” drew the attention of investigators familiar with the slang term “trapping”—commonly used to describe drug sales at a specific location, often called a trap house.
On Tuesday, April 15, agents arranged a controlled drug buy with Davis through social media. Surveillance teams observed Davis leaving his residence and making several stops nearby—believed to be active drug drops—before heading to the Days Inn Motel, where the buy was to occur.
At approximately 6:00 p.m., Davis arrived at the motel and was taken into custody. A search of his vehicle revealed half a pound of methamphetamine, assorted pills, marijuana, a Glock semi-automatic handgun, and U.S. currency. Also in the vehicle were 27-year-old Terrica Ydaysia Hendricks and a six-year-old child. Both Davis and Hendricks were arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance. The child was safely released to a family member.

Agents then executed a search warrant at the Maple Street residence, recovering another half-pound of meth, more marijuana, various pills, and additional cash. During the search, Jermaine Terrance Hendricks (21), Keyante Katorse Summerville (36), also known as “Cash,” and Talesha Ann Hendricks (42) were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. All are being held at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center, pending court appearances.
While officers were at the scene, a vehicle carrying four juveniles (three males and one female) arrived. A search of that vehicle turned up marijuana and two Glock handguns. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
“As our agents arrested the suspects living in this house, neighbors came forward to thank them,” said Sheriff Eddie Hawkins. “They were grateful for the removal of dangerous drugs and individuals who threaten the safety of our neighborhoods. This is a reminder—if you see something suspicious, say something.”

This investigation is ongoing.

Main reason I don't carpool or hang out at people's homes unless I KNOW they getting money legally and have zero street ties. You can easily take a L.

shyt i almost got jammed up in a sting just driving PAST a nikkas house I knew, slowed down a bit to see if his car was in the driveway, it wasn't, so I keep going.

Cops seen me slow down and next thing I know 5 cop cars swarmed and they searched the hell outta my car :whew: shyt was high-key embarrassing cuz it lit up the whole neighborhood, had to hear about that shyt for over a year
